From the presenters’ research in Fall 2023, the startlingly clear and crucial need for major improvements in institutional and library administration support of librarians maneuvering through the accommodations process. Further, the study’s participants revealed how accommodations provided for an individual worker has the potential to enhance accessibility, inclusivity, and equity for all library workers. This presentation will dive into how libraries, library leadership, and library workers must be emboldened to foster more equitable, inclusive, and accessible workspaces. The presenters focus on practical, implementable approaches to doing just so.
