In this video we look at a very common and often challenging practical in Chemistry (which is also a frequent exam question). We explore how to use titration to determine the water of crystallisation of a compound. I show you how to weigh the compound and use a volumetric flask to produce a solution with a known volume. I then explain how to use the burette to carry out the titration. In the next video, I take you through the calculation to determine the value of the water of crystallisation.
