In this video, we look at the important idea of the limiting reagent. This is important as the amount in moles of limiting reagent determines the maximum amount of product we can make. I explain to you how to determine the limiting reagent with a straightforward example. I show you how to determine the amount of product formed and the amount of excess reagent left over when the reaction has finished. I then show you how to deal with more complicated examples, giving you two to try yourself.
