At Proctor Elementary School, students are an integral part of Learning Lab VT, a participatory action research cohort sponsored by the UVM Tarrant Institute for Innovative Education. In Learning Lab VT, students and educators partner in pursuing action research around how to improve learning outcomes in a particular classroom or school. At Proctor Elementary School, educator Corey Smith explains how this model has worked for and with her students.
