Holocaust survivor Martin Greenfield was born in Czechoslovakia in 1928. Martin survived the Mukačevo ghetto, Auschwitz II-Birkenau death camp, Auschwitz III-Monowitz concentration camp, and Buchenwald concentration camp. He was liberated by American armed forces at Buchenwald. Martin immigrated to the United States, where he became a reputable tailor for multiple U.S. presidents (including President Eisenhower, President Clinton, and President Obama), politicians, and celebrities.

Martin was interviewed by USC Shoah Foundation in Brooklyn, New York in 1996.

May is Jewish-American Heritage Month.
