In this video we start looking at the two broad categories that scientists divide proteins into, based on their structures. These are called globular and fibrous proteins. We look at the key property of globular proteins and then explain this by looking at their general structure. We then take a close look at the structure of the oxygen transport molecule haemoglobin, which is a good example of a globular protein.
