A Level Biology Revision (Year 13)

In this video, we look at diagnostic testing of urine. We look at how urine can be used to diagnose diabetes. We then explore how urine can be used to determine pregnancy by using a pregnancy test kit. We look at how monoclonal antibodies to hCG are used in pregnancy tests. Finally, we look at how urine can be used to check for the use of anabolic steroids using gas chromatography mass spectrometry.
