In this video, we look at how kidney failure can be treated by a kidney transplant. We look at the advantages of a kidney transplant compared to kidney dialysis. We also look at the problems associated with kidney transplants, including the risk of tissue rejection. We explore how the risk of rejection can be reduced using tissue matching and immunosuppressant drugs.
