In this video, we look at atomic orbitals and subshells. I explain the idea of the principal quantum number (n) and how to use it. We then look at the definition of an atomic orbital and at the s, p, d and f orbitals. Finally, we discuss what is meant by a subshell. This video is made for the OCR A level Chemistry specification. If you are following AQA, I will be uploading a video on this topic for that exam board.
