A patient with a high-bleeding risk – how should I treat a calcified lesion? – Webinar

Our duo of hosts Dejan Milasinovic and Chiara De Biase visit the cathlab of Emanuele Barbato based in Aalst, Belgium.

If PCI of severely calcified lesions is not optimally performed, the risk of stent-related ischaemic events is increased. Therefore, achieving optimal post-stenting results in patients with calcified lesions and high bleeding risk is of paramount importance given the potential necessity of shortened DAPT duration.

This is the third accredited episode of six new PCR Webinars on the Road

Three reasons to watch this episode : to discuss a step-by-step approach to patients with calcified lesions, to learn about different plaque modification techniques and to understand the importance of bleeding risk assessment when treating calcified lesions.
