"Once [the SWAT team] cornered the shooter, you could hear him say ‘We have to kill all the Jews.’"

On October 27, 2018, an antisemitic shooter attacked congregants at the Tree of Life synagogue in Philadelphia.

Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, a surgeon and Tree of Life member, lived a half block from the synagogue.

In his testimony, he reflects on the terror, the heroic actions of first responders, the Jewish doctors who treated the shooter, and the "surprising" outpouring of community support.
