In this video, we look at the polysaccharide cellulose which is a major part of the cell wall found in plants. Cellulose is a polymer of beta glucose so we start by looking at the structure of cellulose. We then explore the key property of cellulose and how this property allows it to carry out its role in the plant cell wall.
