Celebrating Lag BaOmer | Cila Aaron | Jewish-American Heritage Month | USC Shoah Foundation #Shorts

Holocaust survivor Cila Aaron was born in Czechoslovakia in 1922. Cila survived the Budapest ghetto, and lived under a concealed identity in Budapest, Hungary. She was liberated by Soviet armed forces.

In her USC Shoah Foundation testimony, Cila recalls celebrating the joyous Jewish holiday, Lag BaOmer, as a child.

In 2023, Lag BaOmer occurs from May 8-9.
