In this feature overview video series, we highlight new capabilities included in the latest update to Microsoft Power Apps.
Power Fx is being used by more of Microsoft Power Platform and now it is available for anyone to integrate and use. Like other programming languages, the development of the language and tools is transparent and directly involves Microsoft Power Platform community.
Power Fx is finding a home in Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, model-driven apps, and other products of Microsoft Power Platform. To further it’s adoption, to be transparent, and to engage even more with our community of makers, we are taking a step that almost all programming languages do today, including Microsoft’s own TypeScript and C#. We are making the language and implementation available as open source. Anyone can integrate Power Fx for expressing logic in a wide spectrum of their own solutions. Anyone can view the code, raise bugs, discuss future directions, and help us grow and refine the language. Source code and documentation will be available at https://github.com/microsoft/Power-Fx
