In this video, we continue exploring ionic bonding, this time looking at the reaction between group 2 metals such as magnesium and group 6 non-metals such as oxygen. We explore how this reaction takes place and look at the ions produced. We then look at ionic bonding between any group 1 or 2 and group 6 or 7 elements.
