In this webinar, we discuss our Holistic Education in South & Southeast Asia Spotlight. Representatives from HundrED and the Royal Academy explain the intentions behind this initiative, what we hope to achieve, and the benefits of being involved.
Holistic education is commonly understood as an approach to developing a whole person, balancing cultivation of all aspects including the intellectual or cerebral, physical, emotional, social, and aesthetic or spiritual.
Holistic education also extends beyond individual realization to include the actualization of a community’s potential, which becomes possible when individuals are contributing constructively as citizens.
By raising up innovations that focus on the holistic development of an individual and society, The Royal Academy, Ministry of Education, Bhutan, and HundrED hope to enrich the conversation about the role of education in promoting a more just and harmonious society and give communities constructive resources for driving their own development.

HundrED.Org is a not-for-profit organization, which seeks and shares inspiring innovations in K12 education,
In a world filled with uncertainty, it is our imperative to equip our children with the tools to adapt to whatever unfolds in their lives and the world. It is no longer enough to use a broad brush of knowledge to paint the foundation of their development.
In this fast-changing world, education must adapt to help children thrive. The world is full of inspiring innovations, but they can struggle to spread beyond their immediate environments. That’s why HundrED identifies impactful and scalable K12 innovations and helps them spread.
