December 9 is the United Nations’ International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide.
In his 1985 testimony, Armenian Genocide survivor Harry Kurkjian describes the atrocities of the genocide, including being forced to desecrate the gravesites and bodies of notable Armenians.
