Ad’Ria is an 8-year-old Carnival princess and book author from Scarborough, Ontario! Because her family comes from Trinidad & Tobago, Adria teaches us about the Trinidadian flag. She also shows us her awards for acting, modelling and carnival dancing, before heading off to dance class. Adria proudly showcases her best moves and her love of Soca (popular music in Trinidad and Tobago) with mini-lessons on how to "jump & wave" your flag. Follow along as Ad’Ria takes us to the local book fair where where the storybook she wrote "Ad’Ria Carnival Princess" is showcased. After a long day out, Adria and her mom indulge in their favourite treat – "pholourie" – a Trinidad and Tobago traditional deep-fried snack – Delicious! Back at home, Ad’Ria’s dad welcomes her with a special message; Adria is not going to believe her eyes with this inspirational figure!
