Net Zero: Austin provides an opportunity for the students of Austin to design solutions to create a more sustainable city. The challenge’s goal is to educate everyone on how we can combat the climate crisis and engage youth in designing and building solutions for climate resilience and action.
Right now, on-road transportation is one of our largest sources of emissions.
In this challenge, students are tasked with thinking differently about Austin’s transportation system to meet the needs of all our community members and reduce our dependence on cars.
Students will explore the city in Minecraft Education, meeting the Mayor and a community of experts who will share important information to aid students on their journey. When your research is complete, you will craft your solution. Top projects will be shared and published in a highlight reel!
