American Jane Lester traveled to Nuremberg, Germany, in 1945. Jane was a native New Yorker who happened to be fluent in German. This knowledge led to her being selected as a research analyst on the Nuremberg Trials. In her USC Shoah Foundation interview, Jane discusses the post-apocalyptic setting of Nuremberg during this time, and how the rest of the world had eyes directed at the city.
