NFID offers a variety of online continuing education activities including accredited continuing education programs, enabling participants to earn credits and gain practical knowledge, tools, and skills. NFID online education programs are designed to be self-paced and are led by key thought leaders in the field of infectious diseases.

Immunization Awareness Webinars
NFID hosts immunization awareness webinars to educate healthcare professionals (HCPs) about the importance of vaccination, as well as the need for their strong vaccine recommendations to patients/caregivers. The goal of the webinars is to increase awareness of the importance of adult/adolescent vaccination and to help HCPs increase vaccination rates among their patients. Webinar participants learn important information about vaccines recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and best practices and communication skills, as well as tools and resources to help them engage and communicate with their patients.

The webinars are focused on vaccination issues across a variety of topics including recommended vaccines for adults, adolescents, and specific populations. Webinars are approximately 60-minutes in length, and most offer continuing education credits.
