I saw this picture on Imgur by Mari Andrew, and I love it because of the simplicity, yet powerful emotions it evokes.

Rough times will always happen, but they will not stay.  Good times will happen, but they will not remain.

That is part of what it is to be human.

The trick is not to get caught up thinking that one moment, good or bad, is something that will stay forever.

But as school years are ending, it is also essential to consider that one moment can be one that is looked upon for a lifetime with our students and colleagues. Times that you might forget but they may remember. Those moments will pass but can stay with someone forever.
