Chicago, Ill. – March 6, 2019 – Warrior Dash, the obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, today announced the launch of the Biggest Team Award.

Beginning at Warrior Dash Georgia, held April 13, participants can recruit their training group, OCR team, or running buddies for a chance to attain a Warrior-worthy prize. The biggest team at each 2019 Warrior Dash event will receive bragging rights, a Biggest Team trophy, and special recognition through Warrior Dash channels, in addition to a designated space in the on-site festival area reserved for their team as a meetup spot and recruitment area for their team.

“Warrior Dash has always been about community, encouragement, and fun. A large number of our participants tackle the course with a team of their friends, training group, or OCR team and the Biggest Team Award is a way to recognize these groups and OCR teams that encourage each other to go out, stay active, do something different with their weekend, and often introduce new participants to the world of obstacle course racing,” says Joe Reynolds, CEO at Red Frog Events, producers of Warrior Dash. “There are some well established OCR teams in each market and large teams of annual participants so we can’t wait to see what team claims bragging rights in 2019.”

Create Your Team… Make it a BIG Deal!

For a chance to earn the Biggest Team Award, individuals should indicate their team information during the Warrior Dash registration process on WarriorDash.com.
