Similie is a poetic device in which we compare two different things directly, using the words ‘As’ and ‘Like’.
For example:
1. She is as beautiful as moon.
Here, She is compared with moon directly using the word as.
2. You are like the sunshine of my life.

A is as ___ as B
A is like B.
