Why wet clothes appear Darker?

In this video I have explained, Why wet clothes appear dark.
A wet cloth looks darker because less light is reflected from a wet cloth. Any cloth is woven from a yarn or fibre. That fibre is in turn made of smaller micro-fibres. Light comes from the room lights, or from the Sun, and lands on the cloth. Then light strikes cloth surface and comes into our eyes and hence we are able to see the cloth (REFLECTION). Now suppose this cloth is dipped in water. The piece of cloth now has a layer of water as well. Now light must cross this water layer in order to come into your eyes. When light strikes cloth surface, it enters into water layer and is deflected inwards due to REFRACTION. More light rays bend inwards due to refraction and because of this less number of light rays come into our eyes, making that region appear to be darker.
I hope, now it is clear.
