As we close this year’s edition of the WISE Summit, we want to take a moment to echo the words of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser: “The future of our young people is built on education.” The 2023 Summit resonated exactly that: how to reshape our education landscape, so that our young people are prepared to face and flourish in an uncertain ever-changing future, built on technology and AI.
For the past 2 days we explored, we questioned, we connected, and collaborated to find solutions to problems and opportunities we all face across the world. At the end of the day, we came back to one conclusion, perfectly summarized in the words of WISE CEO Stavros N. Yiannouka:
“Buildings may be destroyed and young lives may be tragically cut short, but ideas endure, and education is the best idea that humanity has ever had. It’s the original AI, because it ensures that human wisdom transcends the confines of an individual human mind.”
