In this 60-minute webinar, get started using KQED Learn, a free online platform for middle and high school classrooms, where students practice writing arguments based on evidence, engage in academic online discussions and create media creation in a distance learning context.
In KQED Learn, students can participate in online discussions with peers from around the country and respond with text, graphic, video or audio. KQED Learn also hosts the Let’s Talk About Election 2020 audio and video commentary challenge. Students can create evidence-based persuasive media pieces and view and comment on each other’s work.
KQED Learn is a powerful addition to almost any educator’s online distance learning toolbox, complete with peer-to-peer activities, scaffolds and assessment strategies.
