We assess students at different times for different reasons. But after a period of disruptions to our regular classes, it is more important than ever that we have a clearer idea of the gaps in their knowledge to more effectively support them. What are some of the different ways we can assess their current language ability and how can we find out about their needs? In this session, Chia Suan Chong looks at the different types of assessments and testing and offers some practical ideas as to how we can get a better feel for where our students are at, especially after a long period away from school.
