Whether you’re looking for  Easter movies for kids or  one to enjoy as a family, Netflix has some amazing Easter movies that are sure to put you in the Easter spirit. From heartwarming dramas to hilarious comedies, here are 10 of the best Easter movies on Netflix to watch with family.


1. Watership Down

Watership Down is a thrilling animated adventure based on the beloved classic novel by Richard Adams. The story follows an intrepid band of rabbits on their quest to find a new home after their warren is destroyed. 


Along the way they face a host of dangerous enemies and must rely on their courage and wit to survive. With an all-star voice cast, beautiful animation, and a poignant story about friendship and survival, Watership Down is a perfect Easter film for all ages.

2. The Resurrection of Gavin Stone

The Resurrection of Gavin Stone is a faith-based comedy drama starring Brett Dalton as Gavin Stone, a former child actor and current Hollywood bad boy who finds himself serving court-ordered community service at a megachurch. With the help of the church staff, including Pastor Dave (D.B. Sweeney), Gavin begins to learn the meaning of faith, humility, and forgiveness as he works to prove that he is capable of a second chance.

3. A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

In A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, a charming alien has crash-landed near Mossy Bottom Farm and sparked a UFO frenzy. Shaun and the flock must help her return home before a sinister agency can capture her.

Come Sunday is a thought-provoking drama starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Martin Sheen and Danny Glover. The movie follows the story of Carlton Pearson (Ejiofor), a renowned pastor who, in his search for spiritual truth, rejects his fundamentalist beliefs and embarks on a journey of spiritual evolution, which puts him at odds with his church’s leadership.

At the center of Come Sunday is Pearson’s crisis of faith, which forces him to re-examine everything he’s known and believed in for so long. A Week Away is a musical film about a troubled teen, Will, who embarks on an unexpected journey of self-discovery when he goes to summer camp. Will’s life has been difficult, and he struggles to find a place where he can belong. At first, his experience at camp is filled with misadventures.
