  • Moodle 4.0 Is Here! What’s new? by susan smith nash Moodle 4.0 is here! I’m trying to determine just what the advantages are and how much of a step change it is from Moodle 3.11.  I don’t think that Moodle can change the basic architecture for a number of reasons. So, the changes have to come in things like user experience and efficiency.    If you’ve worked with Moodle for very long, you know that it can be a place of almost infinite complexity, but also almost Zen-like simplicity. • Tool with the ability to record multiple takes/delete last take by /u/TheWildHorse Is it possible that noone built a tool that allows you to click record (from a OBS virtual camera for example) and it records it directly into a video timeline with the ability to delete your last take if you made a mistake? It would save me sooo much time, and I searched the entitreity of google to find something like that with no luck. What is your flow to record a video and only keep the take for the section that you like? submitted by /u/TheWildHorse [link] [comments]

  • Platform for volunteer courses? by /u/overpickled Hello! Sorry if this is the wrong place for this- I’ve never looked into LMS or e-learning specifically before, but I’m being asked by my employer to help create a method to train our volunteers online. It’s getting a bit redundant at times to require them to all attend a short workshop, so we thought it’d be good to have a video series for them to self-study, with potentially a quiz just to check their understanding. I don’t know if it has to be a specific platform, but I’m looking for a method or platform where we can: Upload/host videos with subtitles or transcripts Have a “quiz” to review material (tracked) Limited or private access- not open to anyone, just our volunteers …
