Henry Strauss World War II Veteran | Jewish Holocaust Survivor Testimony | USC Shoah Foundation

Jewish Holocaust survivor, Henry Strauss (Heinz Siegbert Strauss), was born on July 14, 1928, in Alsfeld, Germany. After the Nazi party came to power, Henry and his family were forced to flee. In 1948, he arrived with his family in the United States. Henry enlisted in the United States army and participated in the Allied occupation of Germany.
