Adjusting to a rigorous curriculum, learning new skills and understanding the nuances of classroom learning are just a few of the many pressures students face. For students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and related language processing difficulties, these struggles are amplified even in the most ideal learning environments.

Shifting to remote learning because of the pandemic also posed additional challenges for these students. In the summer months, educators had to determine the most effective way to adapt their classrooms for this unprecedented transition while ensuring accessibility. Fortunately, thanks to the latest advances in assistive technologies geared toward learning disabilities, educators were able to do that and facilitate remote learning with improved outcomes.
