In this video I have shared with you all a very common question that you may have came across, and it is How do we get goosebumps?

How do we get goosebumps?
Our whole body is covered with small hair follicles. At the base of these hair follicles, Arrector Pili muscles are present. Whenever we feel cold or feel any strong sensation like anxiety, fear, love, inspiration these Arrector Pili muscles at the base of hair follicles contract and due to contractions of these messages hair follicles stand and we get goosebumps.

Are goosebumps benefitial?
No, for you mean beings the are not beneficial, but for our ancestors and the animals they are beneficial.
Whenever animals feel cold they get goosebumps and these standing here follicles act as insulator and keep away cold from the animal’s body.
And also when predators come to eat animals, they get goosebumps. These goosebumps make animals appeared bigger duty which they might escape death.
