Student asked: How did long did it take you become fluent in Spanish?

I mean… My whole childhood? 😂 Six years? Three months?

Language learning is kind of a forever-thing. Even for your mother tongue, aren’t you always learning new words?

In any case, I LOVE answering questions like this when students ask because it shows me how interested they are.

This particular student wants to be a translator.

My favorite teachers always shared anecdotes, so I make sure to do the same.
