Despite the current challenges of remote and hybrid learning, new possibilities also have emerged, especially around the use of educational technology. Schools and districts have realized that educational technology is crucial to preparing students for a rapidly evolving world. Educators are learning new teaching methods and are constantly striving to innovate.

That’s certainly true of those we’ve included on our EdTech 2020 K–12 IT Influencers list. The list features current and former educators, administrators, IT professionals and activists who are using social media and other platforms to inspire others to approach education in new ways.

A few of them shared lessons learned from navigating a new world defined by online learning, as well as key insights into the future of technology in education.
