Vocabulary Words Relevant to the Lesson
Data- a collection of facts(numbers, words, measurements, observations etc.)
Label- any text over a section of a chart that gives additional information about chart value
Legend- an area of a chart describing each of the parts of the chart
Plot- to draw on a graph or chart
Scale -a set of numbers that helps to measure or quantify objects

What is a line graph?
It is a graph that uses points and lines to display quantitative values over
a specified time interval.

What are the advantages of using a line graph?
It is an easy way to show the changes in data over time.
It is efficient in showing small changes that are hard to measure in other graphs.

What are the disadvantages of using a line graph?
Too many lines will make it cluttered and confusing.
A wide range of data is hard to plot over a line graph.
