Jane Nicholas is the music teacher at a school with students from 40 different countries with diverse cultural, linguistic and economic backgrounds. Through her music program she helps celebrate their individual identities to build greater understanding and respect for each other.

After six years The Song Room is still excited and so proud to be associated with this award. Most importantly we are thrilled to shine a light on music education and hero these incredible music teachers!
