On June 30th, 2022, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, SDG Academy, The Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations, Center for Sustainable Development, Columbia University, and Mission 4.7 came together for the UNESCO Transformative Education Pre-Summit.
The dialogue was moderated by SDG Academy Director Paul Walsh and dove into the best practices to produce a tangible summary of recommendations from stakeholders on the possibilities that digital innovation can create transformation education. Opening remarks were given by Ambassador Gerard Keown, Permanent Representative of Ireland to UNESCO; Simon Harris, Irish Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science; and Jeffrey Sachs, President, Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
