The long awaited release of Moodle 3.9 is almost here! In June, we’ll see a range of enhancements for Moodle students, teachers and administrators.

Let’s take a look at some of the new features you can expect to see in the Moodle platform:

Browse educational resources and add them to your courses
Looking for activities and resources to help enrich your courses? With the latest version of our Moodle LMS, you’ll be able to connect to MoodleNet, our open source social network for educators to share resources, from Moodle’s activity chooser. MoodleNet will be launched with Moodle 3.9 and will allow you to browse resources and activities curated and shared by other educators to bring them back to your Moodle courses in just a few clicks.

Create and grade H5P interactive activities
In Moodle 3.9, H5P content will be available as a standard Moodle activity, meaning you can connect it to the gradebook and set up completion criteria. Our new Content bank enables you to create or upload H5P content and store it there to share it across courses.

Save time duplicating courses in just a few clicks
Our new Course Copy feature enables you to duplicate courses from within the Moodle platform in a few easy, intuitive steps. This feature that will make so many teachers and admins happy has been fostered and funded by the Moodle Users Association.
