ACRL’s The Community College Library book series highlights the innovative work of community college librarians across the country. In this webinar, learn how two groups of contributors to the books integrated the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education into their library instruction. Librarians from Kapi’olani Community College will explain how they shifted from the Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education to the Framework while focusing their assessment on student learning outcomes as opposed to student output. A librarian and English faculty from Nashville State Community College will share their experience of utilizing process praise while integrating Framework concepts throughout a semester-long course.
