Members of Tamil diaspora from around the world gathered via zoom on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in support of the formation of Toronto Tamil Chair. A fundraising event was organized by the Center for Education, Innovation, Leadership, a non profit organization founded in New Jersey, United States of America. large number of people gathered in this meeting.

Guest spekers of the event included Professor Sinnaiya Maunaguru, Professor Vasu Renganathan, Dr. Sarvendra Tharmalingam, Dr. Nesan Sriskanda, Dr. Sivayogan nagalingam, renowned Tamil poets, Dr.Cheran, V.I.S. Jeyapalan, Dr. Varatharaja, Tamil Chair Inc. President Mr.Sivan Ilangko, Parai artist, Sakthi Ravanan, other prominant Tamil scholars from the diaspora community, students, and parents from various parts of the world..

Everyone at the event stressed the importance of supporting Toronto Tamil Chair and asked for continued support in the form of financial donation.
