How to Fix A Split Fusion Drive on iMac that comes with Mojave, Big Sur, Catalina, Ventura or Sonoma updated 2023.

If your iMac’s Fusion Drive has become split, you can fix it using the following steps:

* Back up your files. This process will erase your Fusion Drive, so it’s important to have a backup of all your important files before you begin.
* Start up from macOS Recovery. Hold down Command + R while your iMac is starting up.
* Open Terminal. From the macOS Utilities menu bar, select Utilities == Terminal.
* Reset your Fusion Drive by typing the following command in Terminal and press Return:
diskutil resetFusion
* Type your password. When prompted, type your administrator password and press Return.
* Select your Fusion Drive. Terminal will display a list of all your drives. Find the drive that is labeled "Macintosh HD" and type the number that is next to it. Press Return.
* Confirm the reset. Terminal will ask you to confirm that you want to reset your Fusion Drive. Type "Yes" and press Return.
* Reinstall macOS. Once your Fusion Drive has been reset, you will need to reinstall macOS. To do this, select Reinstall macOS from the macOS Utilities menu bar.
* Your iMac will restart and begin the macOS installation process. Once macOS has been reinstalled, your Fusion Drive will be fixed and you will be able to use it normally.

Additional Tips:

* If you are not comfortable using Terminal, you can take your iMac to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service provider for help.
* If you have any problems with the reset process, you can contact Apple Support for assistance.
* It is important to note that resetting your Fusion Drive will erase all of the data on it. Be sure to back up your files before you begin.
